Question:

What do I need to bring when I come in for repairs?

Answer:

Getting repairs set up is a straightforward process, and we aim to make it as easy as possible for you. When you visit our body shop for the first time, here are the most important things to bring:

1. Your Vehicle: It’s essential to have your vehicle with you so that our team can perform a thorough assessment of the damage and provide an accurate estimate. Having your vehicle on-site allows us to evaluate the extent of the repairs needed and ensure that we have the necessary parts and equipment to get the job done efficiently.

2. Claim Number: If your vehicle’s repairs are being covered by an insurance company, please bring the claim number that authorizes the repairs. This claim number is crucial for us to coordinate with your insurance provider and streamline the repair process. It ensures that we have the necessary information to proceed and helps expedite the repair work.

That’s it! With your vehicle and the claim number from your insurance company, we can usually take it from there. Our experienced team will work diligently to get the ball rolling and restore your car to its optimal condition as quickly as possible. We’re committed to making the repair process hassle-free and ensuring your satisfaction with the results.

Question:

What’s the difference between OE and Aftermarket parts, and why does D-Patrick prioritize OE parts?

Answer:

At D-Patrick, we understand the importance of quality and safety when it comes to repairing your vehicle. Here’s a breakdown of OE (Original Equipment) and Aftermarket parts, and why we prioritize OE parts:

  • OE Parts (Original Equipment): These are parts manufactured by the same company that made your vehicle. They are designed to meet the exact specifications and standards of your car’s manufacturer. OE parts are known for their quality, precise fit, and compatibility with your vehicle.
  • Aftermarket Parts: Aftermarket parts are produced by third-party manufacturers and can vary in quality. While some aftermarket parts can be a more affordable option, they may not always meet the same level of quality and precision as OE parts.

Why We Prioritize OE Parts:

  • Safety: Your safety and the safety of your vehicle’s occupants are our top priorities. OE parts are designed to provide the best performance and ensure the original safety standards of your vehicle.
  • Quality: OE parts are known for their superior quality and durability. By using OE parts, we can guarantee that the replacement components will match the original ones.
  • Compatibility: OE parts fit perfectly with your vehicle, reducing the risk of installation issues and ensuring your car’s performance remains as it was before the accident.
  • Pre-Loss Condition: We are committed to getting your car back to its pre-loss condition. Using OE parts helps us achieve this goal by maintaining the integrity and value of your vehicle.
  • Price Matching: While OE parts can be more expensive, we understand your concerns about cost. At D-Patrick, we do our best to price match with our OE vendors whenever possible, ensuring that you receive quality parts without breaking the bank.

In the event that an insurance company prefers aftermarket parts, we advocate for the right to use OE parts to guarantee your vehicle’s optimal condition and your peace of mind. We believe in transparency and ensuring you are fully informed about your repair options, so you can make the best choice for your car.

Rental Cars

We’ve Got You Covered: If your insurance is providing you with a rental car, there’s no need for you to worry about extending the rental yourself. We’ve got that handled for you! When your allocated rental period is about to end, an Enterprise associate will reach out to us for an update on your car’s repairs. We’ll extend the rental on your behalf, ensuring a smooth transition. Most insurance rental policies typically cover up to 30 days. If we approach that 30-day mark while your vehicle is with us, we can discuss alternative transportation options while we put the finishing touches on your car.
